Grace Dear Friends in Christ, First a shout out to everyone who was part of making our Cinco De Mayo party so great! 75 of us gathered for fun and food and a great chance to get to know one another better. Thanks goes to: Aaron, Mark, Damian, Michelle, Carole, Mike, Ginger, Shannon, Debbi, Jennifer, Carrie and so many others who pitched it. Our next bash happens on July 20 when we have a BBQ, volleyball, and bounce house at the church (Sunday, 5PM). Mark it down so you can be part. This Sunday is both Pentecost and Mother's Day! Pentecost is the birthday of the church and we will celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit and the new life we have in Jesus at both 9:00 and 10:40 worship. I am excited to share this week's message which will feature a mother's day video. Our title is: Love is a Package Deal and our text is 1 Cor. 1:10-17. Bring your Mom to worship--I will be bringing mine! Our two 1 x classes are coming up! Growing in Faith as a Family is filling up (Sunday, May 18, 5-6:30 PM). I have attached a flyer, share it with a friend. Parenting is such a challenge, this one time class will help you in bring a real and livable faith into your daily family life. The following Sunday, May 25 I am doing the popular Introduction to the Bible. This is my favorite class to teach because the material (which I adapted from a teacher who has greatly influenced me) is life changing.
