Since the early days of the church, confirmation has
always been important. It is through confirmation that we confirm
our faith in Jesus Christ. In addition, youth get a chance to
confirm their faith for themselves (not just something their parents
have decided). The youth explore what it means to be a follower of
Jesus Christ, what Christians believe, and the beliefs of the
United Methodists church.
Baptism
comes first
then
confirmation. If you are interested
in participating in the confirmation
program, but have not yet been
baptized, please call the church office.
Many youth have been baptized and
confirmed on the same day, but you can
discuss this with one of the pastors.
