Bible Study Tools
 On
the SMUMC web site Home page you will find a link to
“Read Through the New Testament in One
Year”. Click the link to read a daily set of
scriptures, starting in the book of Matthew for January. The
scriptures will change daily, and go through each book of the New
Testament book by book, and scripture by scripture, ending in the book
of Revelation in December. If you have never read continually
through the Bible, this is a great opportunity for you to begin now.
Make this one of your goals for 2004.
 Click
the “Bible Study” button on the SMUMC Toolbar (at the top of
every page), to access the Bible Study tools page. Here you will
find the entire Bible in the King James Version, American Standard
Version, and also a Basic English version.
There are several handy Search Tools too.
- Search the Bible by Scripture/ Verse
- Search the Bible by specific Words or Phrases
- Look up words in a Biblical Dictionary
- Look up the meaning of people’s Names in
the Bible
- Search for Biblical Maps by specific city
names
- Also, there is the Matthew Henry Commentary
So when you can’t remember where to find a
particular scripture, look no further than the SMUMC Web site. Or
simply use this as an addition to your regular Bible study.

 View
photos of many of the our past church activities.
If you have any photos of SMUMC events that you would
like to have included in the album to share with the rest of the
congregation, you can email your digital photos to info@smumc.com
or mail your print pictures to the church office Attn: Photo Album.
 The

Calendar of Events
 Keep
in touch with church happenings on a daily basis. The church
Calendar of Events is always up-to-date.
