Meals
Ministry is a ministry of SMUMC that brings a warm home-cooked meal to
those church members who are celebrating a new baby in the house or to
those who are confined at home due to illness or injury. Any new
parent knows that those first days and weeks with an infant are
life-changing and there isn’t always time to make a meal. Plus, who
wants to be cooking when you can sit and gaze at a new baby?!
Also, if confined to bed because of illness or injury, how wonderful it
is to receive a home-cooked meal!
Could you use a home-cooked meal? Or would you
like to volunteer to make a meal for someone in the congregation?
